Since then they have teamed up with others and clonedb works wonders alongside anydvd and is well worth the money. Don't waste your money.Īny dvd I run into about 15 + years ago for the first time. No responses to my emails so as far as I can tell it is a scam or a poorly run shop at best. Then when you try to put it to work it might do nothing at all or come with error messages. I paid and registered and thought it would be all ok.

So I figured trial version was just timed out and full version would work. Then when things didn't work according to their website there was a trial version limitation that made sure operations timed out after 2-3 minutes. User interface seems relatively clean and things make sense. It will not do anything of what they claim. So for now I will say this, do not waste your money on that software. Both will show up on google searches and a few forums but other then that hard to find reviews. The other one got a different branding but otherwise looks the same.

In addition to the software you mentioned there is at least one more with the very same user interface that also does not work according to other customers. Tried that and all I get is errors, and the more I look into it, well it seems like a scam of some sort. But I prefer to test out a trail version before paying to make sure it does what I need it to do.

What tool will let me extract only the subtitle from iso image or blu ray disc? If you know a tool that can extract subtitles from iso files or blu ray discs this and that tool has high success rate it is ok if it is a paid option. I've tried also ease fab lossless copy, but that one only gives out eror msg. On some discs a program named Subtitle Edit works other not at all. During the encoding and transforming it into a mkv file using handbrake I did loose the subtitle.ġ: As I already have done a bunch of iso files and handbrake converted mkv files and do not wanna start all over again I wonder if I can somehow extract the subtitles from the iso file (iso files still in my temp folder) or from the blu ray disc if I insert the disc into the bd drive? That way I could just dump the subtitle file into the same folder as the mkv file.Ģ: What format is the most common for subtitles and what should I aim for? I kind of like SRT as that is a clear text file where I easily can do a visual check to see if extract was correct.ģ: What tools are suited to extract subtitles from iso files or blu ray discs? I don't mind paying if a tool is great and actually work. Worked like a charm, or so I believed until I sat down to watch a movie. So next step was shrinking file size in handbrake.

And vlc was able to show movie with subtitles. On the bright side anydvd did not run into any problems with encryption etc. I've tried to use anydvd to make an iso, but then realized when rip was completed a 25 ish GB iso file is too large. I've looked into ripping Blu Ray and met so many problems.
